D S Simon Productions Changes Name to D S Simon Media

New name is more reflective of the strategic role firm plays in creating and distributing video content across paid, earned, shared, and owned platforms

D S Simon Productions, a media firm founded in 1986, is rebranding as D S Simon Media. The new name is more reflective of the strategic role it plays in creating and distributing video content across paid, earned, shared, and owned platforms.

“The definition of media is changing. Media includes the compelling content we create for organizations and the broadcasters, journalists, bloggers and influencers that air, post, and share that content” says Doug Simon, President & CEO of D S Simon Media. “Our name change reflects that new reality.”

D S Simon is seeing increased demand for digital media campaigns, narrative production, and media tours for online and broadcast.

“We have been seeing an increased desire by our clients and the journalists we work with to produce high quality narrative content that can be shared cross platform” says Eric Wright, D S Simon Senior Vice President of Business Development. “This is reflected in our name change and is backed up by the findings of our Media Influencers Report which found that 76% of digital producers and journalists use third-party video.”
