Digital Media Content and Marketing Coordinator

You will lead marketing events, content creation, marketing execution and support for an innovative media company that specializes in live video broadcasts for television and social media on behalf of its clients. D S Simon Media works with top brands and non-profits on high profile campaigns for leading hotels and destinations, video game creators, major retailers, issues advocacy and Fortune 500 companies.

You will work directly with the CEO and company leadership on campaigns to produce, create and post video on social channels. You will also produce events and live broadcasts from the company’s broadcast studio or on-location, create project proposals, presentations, media releases, marketing campaigns and speaking engagements while also supporting the CEO and client services team on new business development.

Job Responsibilities

Content Creation

Video production, editing and posting to social channels

Shooting and editing behind-the-scenes content at client events

Taking a journalist style to interviews with CEO to create articles, videos and posts

Booking and scheduling influencer video interviews for company social channels, industry trades, award programs and events

Updating web site, social pages and video blog

Conduct on camera interviews



Manage events including live broadcasts

Create materials including videos and presentations

Invite attendees and speakers

Develop promotional materials for the event

Promote events through social and other channels


Marketing Execution and Support

Lead and manage marketing initiatives

Provide input and feedback on perspective marketing campaigns

Create and execute e-mail marketing campaigns and track their effectiveness

Support CEO and client service team developing proposals and tracking prospects

Developing presentations, PPTs

Write proposals and Letters of Agreement

Develop press materials and pitches

Update sales database



Required Skills

Ability to write articles, scripts and blurbs for multiple media channels

Ability to write, produce, shoot, edit video content and post/share it

Proficient in Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, PPT and WordPress

Proficient in social media channels including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn

Excellent writing skills for multiple social and other platforms

Effective, articulate, persuasive communicator (written and verbal)

Willing to reach out to trade media and industry leaders and attend industry events

Fast learner and ability to work with various databases and media lists

Organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively

Creative problem solver

Willing to travel

Microsoft Office Suites including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
